FRANK JANSEN AND THE BAND BIOGRAPHY

				Frank est né le 14 novembre 1964 à Steenbergen (Pays-Bas). Sa profession est préparateur de travaux dans la construction. Il est marié et père d'un garçon et d'une fille. Sa plus grande passion est de jouer de la guitare et la musique Country. Pas étonnant sachant que ses parents étaient fans de Johnny Cash et qu'il fut "nourrit" par cette musique. Ses artistes favoris sont Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Alison Krauss en Dwight Yoakam. De 13 à 15 ans, il vécut avec sa famille en Tanzanie. C'est là qu'il apprit la guitare et l'anglais.
				Jusqu'en 1994 la musique était son hobby. Ensuite il a suivi des cours de guitare et y a investi beaucoup de temps et d'énergie afin de pouvoir représenter quelque chose sur la scène country. La même année il a enregistré une bande ayant comme titre "From The Heart" comportant quelques reprises plus quelques propres compositions qu'il a présentée aux radio locales.

J. Vergauwen de la W.R.O		envoya quelques bandes à "Indie Labels" aux States.
		Il s'en suivit une invitation à enregistrer un "radio sampler" sous le label de Bob Grady. Le choix tomba sur "The Heart That You Own" de Dwight Yoakam. Ce morceau eu un tel accueil qu'il fut n°1 durant 3 mois dans le "Europe Top 100 Variety Indie Charts" et un second single fut enregistré, cette fois sur un morceau de Bob Grady "You're a Phonecall That I Need Tomake" qui fut aussi pendant 3 mois numéro1. C'était d'ailleurs la première fois qu'un Européen avait la première place dans ces charts.
